Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of the US women's Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. the Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze was won through the balance bar. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals in the Olympics. The year she was in 2016, and the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to take home back-to-back golds at team events. Additionally, she won silver medals in the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. In addition she was part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly is an active member for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away due to cancer. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden her line of leotards and socks in the very near future. She is writing a book called Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
