Rose McIver
Frances Rose McIver (born 10 October 1988) is a New Zealand actress. She was the lead actress as Olivia "Liv" Moore on The CW supernatural comedy-drama series iZombie (2015-2019) and played the role of Summer Landsdown, the Yellow Ranger in Power Rangers RPM (2009). She also played the character as Amber Moore in the romantic comedy film A Christmas Prince (2017) and its sequels The Royal Wedding (2018), and The Royal Baby (2019).McIver began her acting career with guest appearances in series based in New Zealand like Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Legend of the Seeker. She also played recurring parts in the Showtime period drama series Masters of Sex (2013-14) and the ABC fantasy adventure drama series Once Upon a Time (2013-2017). She is currently starring in the CBS supernatural sitcom Ghosts (2021-preseMcIver made her debut film appearance in the period drama The Piano (1993). Since then, she has appeared in the drama The Lovely Bones (2009) as well as the horror comedy Predicament (2010) as well as the sports drama Blinder (2013), the romance drama Petals on the Wind (2014) and the musical drama DaffodilsMcIver . She was born in Auckland and was raised in Titirangi by her father, John George Whitfield "Mac" McIver (b. 1951),a photographer, as well as her mother, Ann "Annie" (nee Coney) is an artist. The home where she was born is still home to her parents. Paul McIver is her older brother, and was an musician and actor. She was a ballet and jazz until the age of thirteen.McIver went to Avondale College and was a prefect during her last year. She graduated in 2006.She went to the University of Auckland, and majored in Psychology and Linguistics However, she didn't complete her degree. Between acting jobs and babysitting, she worked as a babysitter , and also worked part-time in the import of bananas using Fair Trade. In her role as a voice for conscience, she was a part of the "All Good Bananas” promotion.
